Who sends these texts

CallerWho is a business phone system run by Caller Technologies, Inc. (DBA CallerWho). Home-service businesses such as plumbers, HVAC, electrical and roofing contractors answer their calls and texts on a phone number hosted on CallerWho. When you contact one of those businesses, it texts you through CallerWho about the appointment you asked for.

How you agree to receive texts

You always contact the business first. CallerWho never texts people who have not.

  • Online booking form. The business's CallerWho booking form asks for your mobile number and shows this right under the question:
    By giving your number you agree to appointment texts from this business via CallerWho. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
  • Calling or texting the business. You call or text the business's CallerWho number to book service and confirm the mobile number your appointment details should go to.

What you will receive

Only messages about the service you asked for: booking confirmations, appointment reminders, reschedule notices, technician on-the-way updates, and replies to your own questions. No marketing. Message frequency varies with your appointment. Message and data rates may apply.

The first text you get from a business names CallerWho, for example:

Rocky Plumbing: your appointment is confirmed for Mon, Oct 12 at 9:00 AM. Mark will be your technician. Reply STOP to opt out. Sent via CallerWho.

How to stop texts

Reply STOP to any text. It takes effect at once, and you get one last message confirming it:

Rocky Plumbing via CallerWho: you are unsubscribed and will not receive further messages from us at this number. Reply START to resume.

Reply START to receive texts again:

Rocky Plumbing via CallerWho: you are subscribed and will receive appointment messages at this number. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Reply HELP to any text:

Your number stays private

Your mobile number and your agreement to receive texts are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
